Tom Lombard

Tom Lombard is a City Councilmember of North Richland Hills, TX. First elected in May 2009, he was re-elected in 2011 and 2013. Tom also currently serves on the Executive Boards of the North Central Texas Council of Government and the Texas Municipal League Region 8 and is a member of the National League of Cities Information Technology & Communications Steering Committee.

Prior to joining the City Council, he served on city boards and committees. From 2006 to 2009 he was a member of the Parks & Recreation Facilities Development Corporation and the Parks & Recreation Board, which he chaired. He was also appointed in 2008 to the Gas Board Appeals Boards.

Tom has been an active supporter of his local public school system. He was chairman of the Birdville ISD Bond Oversight Committee for the district’s 2006 bond program. He previously served on the district’s 2006 Bond Study Committee.

Tom has been a resident of North Richland Hills since 1994. He is employed as a software engineer with AT&T. He is a 1978 graduate of the University of Dayton (Dayton, OH) with a Bachelor of Arts and a 1984 graduate of Bellarmine University (Louisville, KY) with an Associate of Applied Science.

Tom and his wife, Paula, have been married since 1985. They are the parents of three daughters and members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Keller, TX.
