Being transformed is not easy. It requires a lot of hard work, pain, and sometimes suffering. In all honesty…it can suck!

However, in order for growth to take place, one must be willing to allow their mind, body, and soul to become transformed.

When we allow transformation to take place in our lives, we produce qualities such as perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. This may sound simple. Yet, it is one of the most challenging things I’ve had to surrender to.

When I started the transformation process I knew my mind was the first thing needing change. Some of the thoughts, and crap that ran through my mind was all distorted.

In order for my mind to be transformed I had to let go of the old way of thinking, and embrace the new. I had to let go of negative thoughts, guilt, shame, and all that other trash which holds us back in life.

Transforming the mind is a daily battle. When I start feeling defeated I have to remind myself I’m more than conquer. When mother’s say I can’t, I have to smile and say, “Watch me.”

When the friends I’ve known for year’s seem to drag me down, instead of lift me up, I have to recognize our time on this journey has run its course.

This is not a bad thing. If we recognize, and understand the transformation process we can come to understand not all friendships are meant for a life time. Most of them are for a season. During that season we should enjoy, embrace, and encourage one another.

Once our mind is transformed we open the door of possibility, which leads to the door of prosperity.
