Diane Walden Brierley was born and raised in Western Massachusetts, in the college community of Williamstown. She attended Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston, receiving her AB in English with a minor in music in 1975. After receiving her degree, Diane worked in the travel arena and became a senior travel consultant for one of the country’s largest agencies. After marriage, Diane moved to Dallas in 1985, and helped establish Brierley & Partners, serving as Director of Human Resources until 1990. For 20+ years, she has been a dedicated and active community volunteer with a particular passion for the arts, education and wildlife conservation.

Diane is married to Harold M. (Hal) Brierley. Along with her love of travel, Diane has a passion for classical and country music. She is an ardent animal lover and can regularly be seen walking her two dogs, Charlie and KC.
