Mom of Two & Chief Marketing Officer, Ignite Restaurant Group Robin is a single mom of two wonderful kids, Christian (12) and Lauren (9), that loves to eat great food, drink good wine, spend time with friends and family and go places and do things she has never done. Robin’s career has been focused on marketing and advertising with a proven track record for creating and leading initiatives that increase sales and traffic for retailers, restaurants and new products. Robin has been with Ignite Restaurant Group (owner of Joe’s Crab Shack, Brick House Tavern + Tap and
Romano’s Macaroni Grill) since 2007. She leads the Marketing, Design and Culinary teams that service these great brands. Prior to joining Ignite, Robin was with Applebee’s International where she led all media and national campaign planning for the 1,700-unit casual dining leader. Robin’s experience includes work with Pepsi core brands and new products at Tracy-Locke, and managed in-house media department for Michaels Stores, Inc., the largest arts-and-crafts retailer in the country. Robin has a true passion for creating environments and opportunities for women that seek and have the potential for leadership positions in all areas of life. To fulfill this passion she serves on that Marketing Advisory Board for Women’s Foodservice Forum, a leadership organization that focuses on elevating women leaders. She also has a passion for supporting the fight against childhood hunger, volunteering on the Marketing Advisory Board for Share Our Strength/No Kid Hungry Initiative for many years. Robin earned a Masters of Business Administration from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television and Film from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
